This LP is comprised of 2 modules—Basic Biology and Lacey Act: Declaration Basics. This Learning Path will cover the fundamentals of a goods entry into the United States, so that you can support importers with their shipments. You should be a customs broker or a service provider to register and take this class. If you ordered the 5-module Lacey Path, you do not need to order this Learning Path since the two modules that comprise this Learning Path are included in the 5-module Lacey Path. Industry professionals or those wanting to understand risk assessment and the compliance responsibilities that go beyond completing a PPQ505, the import declaration required by the Lacey Act, should register and take the 5-module Lacey Path. Each module should take 30 to 60 minutes to complete and concludes with a 10-question assessment at the end. Learners must score a minimum of 80% before they can proceed to the next module. Learners who do not receive a passing grade, can review the module and take the assessment again. You can stop at any time, during any of the modules, and resume where you left off. Learners successfully completing this Learning Path are eligible to receive 2 CCS/MCS CES/MES LCB credit type(s) from NEI.
